These Mustang Seat Belt Kits have proven to be a very popular item. They come with a retractable reel just like a modern application. The kits feature chrome buckles
for that period correct look. They are also easy to install. Many colors are available including the newest color-Ivy Gold/Green (available for front set only.)
Of course, we still have
lap only seat belt sets also in many popular colors. These also feature those chrome buckles.

I was wondering if there were any pictures/directions available for viewing for a 65 mustang fastback
Sorry, but the installation instruction sheet provided by the manufacturer does not specifically cover your model. It does cover 1968-up Fastback installation. 1965 Fastback installation would be similar, but you would have to make provisions for the top installation hole in the roof area. This is already in a '68-up Fastback since those years originally offered shoulder belts as an option. If you wish to get a copy of the instructions that are supplied with the belts, please contact us by using the contact form on our web page at www.virginiaclassicmustang.com .
How about a 67 Fastback?
Can I use them in my car?
Carlos,
See comment above-same applies to 67 Fastback as posted about the 65 Fastback.
Thanks for visiting the Blog.
does this work in a 67 convertible? picture looks like a convertible.
Yes, these will work on a convertible. Check out our new lower price on these Mustang Shoulder Harness Sets too! Thanks for your comment.
Do you know if the attach points are in the headliner for a 68 hard top. Would like shoulder harnesses but dont want them attaching on the floor.
On most 68 Mustang Coupes, you can mount the upper point in the roof area. If not, it is mounted on the door pillar.
Will these work with a 1965 convertible? I am trying to figure out how to put a shoulder harness in a 65 convertible.
Front Seat Belts will go in convertible by mounting "third" point on door pillar area.
Rear Belts in Convertible are a bit difficult. Retractor has to be mounted at the high point behind the seat. Essentially that makes it a two point system.
Would they fit on a 66 coupe and if so where do you attach the top point to?
Yes, they will fit a 1966 Mustang Coupe. They will mount to the top of the door latch pillar post for the front belts.
