1969-73 Mustang Parking Brake Cable Return Spring Cup

Here is a new item that just became available.  It is a little part, but when you are looking for one, it is extremely difficult to find.  It is the cup washer that fits at the end of the front parking brake cable at the spring for a 1969-73 Mustang.

This cup washer was reproduced from the original Ford Blue Prints and is just like the original.  It features nice clear zinc (silver) plating.

Our part number is BK-2332.

We have lots of customers ask about the emergency brake hook up on Mustangs. We happened to have a nice picture a 1964 1/2 Coupe, so we just labeled it showing the various parts.

1968 and 1969 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable

We just received a shipment of reproduction rear emergency brake cables for 68-69 Mustangs.  These cables have the correct metal covering rather than the generic replacements with the plastic covering.

The LH Rear Parking Brake Cable is for both 1968 and 1969 Mustangs.  It is 31  5/8 inches long.  Our part number is BK-2262.

The RH Rear Parking Brake Cable is for the 1968 Mustang.  It measures 136  5/8" long.  Our part number is BK-2263.

1965 Mustang Parking Brake Cables

I always hate when something is discontinued; but in this case, it's a good thing. The BK2299 1965 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable (replacement style) is no longer available. That's fine though, because it has been replaced by the BK2247 Exact Style Cable.

This emergency brake cable is so much better than the replacement one that it is amazing. This BK2247 Cable features the correct ends, metal covering, rubber pieces, etc. It is just like the original. The other one was just a plastic covered cable that would work.

This correct cable is only $26.95...$2.00 more than the replacement one!!!

1971-73 Mustang Front Parking Brake Cable

These just arrived! We now have 1969-70 and 1971-73 Mustang Front Emergency or Parking Brake Cable with the metal covering and springs like the original. These are a great alternative to the replacement style cable with the plastic covering. The plastic covered aftermarket cable was previously the only cable available.



Part Numbers are BK1104 for the 1969-70 Cable and BK1105 for the 1971-73 Cable.

65-66 Mustang Reproduction Front Parking Brake Cable

The original Ford 65-66 Front Parking Brake Cables were made obsolete several years ago. Up to this point, only a plastic covered replacement was available.



That has changed, because we now have this exact reproduction that features the metal covering, the bracket and the rubber firewall sleeve. These cables for the 65-66 models just arrived, and we should have the 67-68 Front Parking Brake Cable soon.
