65 and 66 Mustang Consoles - Now in Stock!

We now have complete consoles for 1965 and 1966 Mustangs.  These consoles are assembled and include the plastic base, chrome trim, ashtray, rear light, under console wiring, and shifter boot or plate.

The bases are all black, but they can be disassembled and painted to match other interior colors.

All the bases are for Coupes and Fastbacks.  They must be trimmed to fit the floor of a Convertible.

The models for Mustangs equipped with factory air conditioning also include the front trim chrome piece.

Here at Virginia Classic Mustang we are pleased to announce that we now have 1965 and 1966 Mustang Woodgrain Inserts for the Consoles.  These are the super nice metal inserts, not the contact paper style, so there will be no problem with durability or shrinkage.  We had these years ago, and always get calls asking when they may be able again.  They are now in stock!!

We have two versions available.  Part number IN-1569 is for the Automatic Transmission and Part number IN-1568 is for the Manual Transmission.

65-66 Mustang Consoles

We have had our IN6322 65-66 Black Console Bases for quite some time now. They are just very nice pieces. We now (or will be very soon) have the same, super quality part molded in the correct off white color. It is our part number IN6322WHI.

Here is our description:

ABS molded in color plastic. Paintable with any solvent based paint. Exact reproduction. Injection molded just like the original with correct grain surface. Very sturdy and durable. The console has cut lines embedded into the plastic on the underside detailing where to cut for Convertibles and Air Conditioning equipped cars. No cutting templates needed. Also comes with IN6321 (plastic plate at rear of front compartment.) We have assembled the console with original and reproduction chrome trim parts, and they fit great. We started with a NOS console to make the tooling 100 percent correct as most consoles are warped at the mounting edge.
