We just got in these Mustang door hinge mounting plates for 1965 and 1966 Mustangs. These are the backing plates that mount behind the pillar where the door hinges are mounted. The door hinge mounting bolts screw into these plates. They are often lost or stripped.

Later in 1965 production, a change was made from  3/8 inch mounting bolts to smaller 5/16 inch mounting bolts. These plates feature the 5/16" x 18 size, so you can use that size bolts or you can tap them for the larger 3/8" bolts.

Mustang Front Crossmember Bolts

From time to time, we like to post a quick entry about a unique part that we have available. Today, we are posting abount the Front Crossmember Bolt Set. These are the bolts that hold the crossmember located under the oil pan. These are quite unique items. They are definitely something that cannot be found locally as "generic" replacement bolts. These bolts fit 1965-70 model Mustangs and probably many other Fords.
