67-70 Mustang, Shelby, and Cougar Sway Bar Bushings - 15/16 inch

Now Available! We have the correct 15/16" sway bar insulators for many 67-70 Mustangs, Shelbys, and Cougars. The Ford service part number for this part is C9ZZ-5493-A, but these were reproduced from an original assembly line part. The NOS part does not fit like the original, but this one does!

The correct rubber was used for proper performance. The bushings also feature the correct ribbing along with a split like original for installation. (Note: The split goes to the rear when installing.) Made in the USA!

These bushings are 100% correct for the following applications:

1967-70 Shelby GT350 and GT500
1967-70 Mustang (and Cougar) with Competition Handling Package
1969-70 428 Cobra Jet equipped cars
1969 Boss 429
1970 Boss 302 and Boss 429

1965-66 GT350 Shelby Mustang Sway Bar Bushings - Now Available!

1965 and 1966 GT350 Shelby Mustang One Inch Sway Bar Rubber Bushings (Insulators) are now available. The original Ford Part number on this part is C0AA-5493-A.

We are very excited to announce the availability of the one inch sway bar bushings (insulators) for the 1965 and 1966 Shelby Mustang. These rubber bushings are a Virginia Classic Mustang exclusive.

I've just noticed some NOS bushings selling for over $200.00 a pair, and I really wanted to see some nice and correct bushings available for these cars at a reasonable price.

I could not be more pleased with how they turned out. It is virtually impossible to tell these from the originals or an NOS Ford Part.

They were made using an original sample, the original Ford Blue Prints, and an NOS sample of the original part number, C0AA-5493-A.

Mustang Sway Bars

One of the original modifications made to the 65-66 Shelby GT350 Mustangs was the addition of a one inch front sway bar. This is one of the best modifications that you can make to your Classic Mustang.

The stock front sway bar on a standard '65-66 Mustang was a small 5/8 inch size. This one inch kit will greatly improve your Mustang's handling abilities. The kit comes complete with frame brackets with insulators and end kits. The bushings are all made of a thermoplastic rubber. This material performs and lasts like polyurethane, but without the annoying squeaks.
