We now have the speedometer drive gears in 6 tooth and 7 tooth for the Ford four speed toploader transmissions.  This is the gear inside the transmission.  These gears are made from a high temperature plastic like the originals.  The original blue prints were also used in production of the gears.

1967-70 4 Speed Speedometer Cable Retainer at Firewall

We have been selling Classic Mustang Parts for 30 years, and we are always pleased that so many new parts continue to become available for these cool cars!  As the level of the quality of restorations continue to rise, more and more little detail items come out.

Here is one of those items.  It is the little speedometer cable retaining clip that fits on the firewall of 67-70 Mustangs equipped with a Four Spd. transmission.  It is an exact copy made from the original Ford blue prints.  Our part number is IN-8922.

Mustang Speedometer Cable Clip

Here is another interesting detail item that is now available. This is the clip for the speedometer cable. I have seen them on all 65-66 4 speed transmission equipped Mustangs. This clip was also used on other applications. It is interesting to note that the clip is made to hold two different sized lines, but it was used on the passenger's side to hold the 4 Spd. Speedometer cable to the firewall area.

The image below shows an original clip on a 1965 Mustang that has never been been removed.

New Part-Mustang Speedometer Cable Clamp

Here is another nice, new detail part that just arrived in stock. It is the Speedometer Cable Clamp at the Transmission for 1969-73 model Mustangs. It is just like the original part and features nice zinc plating.

65-66 Mustang Speedometer Cables

All of our new 65-66 Mustang Speedometer Cables now have the correct foam rubber seal where the cable passes through the firewall/transmission tunnel area. Even the NOS Ford Speedometer Cables that you may find (and pay way too much for) do not have this seal.

We have two different versions:

IN891 1965-66 Mustang equipped with 4 Speed Transmission

IN891A 1965-66 Mustang equipped with 3 Speed or Automatic Transmission

65-70 Speedometer Cable Retaining Clip

This is a little, but nice detail part that we now have in stock. It is the Mustang Speedometer Cable Retaining Clip. This is the clip that fits on the transmission crossmember brace. These clips used a little "butterfly" retainer to hold them in the hole. Due to this fact, they are often unusable once they are removed.

1967-73 Speedometer Cable Firewall Grommet

Here is a little, new part that just arrived. It is the 1967-73 Mustang Speedometer Cable Grommet. This rubber grommet fits on the speedometer cable where it passed through the firewall area. It was reproduced from the original Ford Blueprints.
