We get a lot of call for the front parking / emergency brake cable mounting brackets for '65 and '66 Mustangs.  We now have them in stock.

This bracket attaches with two screws to the transmission crossmember brace at the floor pan as shown in the image below.

We now have the brackets that secure the rear parking brake cables on a '65 and '66 Mustang.  These brackets are made to weld to the floor pan in the transmission tunnel area just like the originals.  They come finished in a weld through primer.  They are sold as a set of 2 (enough for one car).

1969-73 Mustang Parking Brake Cable Return Spring Cup

Here is a new item that just became available.  It is a little part, but when you are looking for one, it is extremely difficult to find.  It is the cup washer that fits at the end of the front parking brake cable at the spring for a 1969-73 Mustang.

This cup washer was reproduced from the original Ford Blue Prints and is just like the original.  It features nice clear zinc (silver) plating.

69-70 and 71-73 Mustang Parking Brake Lever Return Springs

We used to sell a lot of these Emergency Brake Cable Springs for the Mustangs, but they have not been available for quite some time.  We still get quite a few calls for them, and we are proud to announce that they are available again!

These Mustang Parking Brake Lever Return Springs return the pedal back to the non park position. Originals are often rusty and break. These are made from the original Ford blue prints to the exact original specifications. Finished in black to prevent rusting.

They are available for both the 1969-70 Mustangs under our part number BK-233.  The Springs for the 1971-73 Mustangs are part number BK-2331.

Mustang Parking Brake Link Spring

One of our very popular parts are the Mustang Brake Hardware Kits.

One of the items not included in these kits are the Parking Brake Link/Lever Springs. We now have these available for both V8's and 6 Cylinders.

The BK1571 is for the 65-73 Mustangs with the V8 engine.

The BK1581 is for the 6 cylinder models.

They are both made from the original Ford Blue Prints.

1966 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable

More great news! We are now able to offer the exact reproduction 1966 Mustang Rear Emergency Brake Cable at a much better price. It is now only $59.95! This cable is made just like the original and now even includes the BK6 Parking Brake Cable Equalizer. In case you are not familar with the '66 parking brake cable set up, keep in mind that it used a one piece cable that goes to both rear drums. You only need to order one of these cables per car.

1965 Mustang Parking Brake Cables

I always hate when something is discontinued; but in this case, it's a good thing. The BK2299 1965 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable (replacement style) is no longer available. That's fine though, because it has been replaced by the BK2247 Exact Style Cable.

This emergency brake cable is so much better than the replacement one that it is amazing. This BK2247 Cable features the correct ends, metal covering, rubber pieces, etc. It is just like the original. The other one was just a plastic covered cable that would work.

This correct cable is only $26.95...$2.00 more than the replacement one!!!

Order BK2247. Keep in mind that you will need two of them per car. They are sold each.
