Since last week's post about our new Autolite distributor caps, we received quite a few questions about the correct distributor cap for a '65-66 Mustang and Shelbys.

We have this one too! The correct cap did not feature any logo or lettering on the top. It just featured a number "1" on the top. On the underside that cannot be seen when installed, the cap had a FoMoCo logo.

Our cap is exactly like the original, sans the FoMoCo logo. It also has brass contacts, which is actually an improvement over the original.

Years ago, the ignition switch wiring plug for the 68-69 Mustangs was discontinued.  Well, we have great news, it is available again!  This is the plug that plugs into the back of the ignition switch.  As pictured, it includes the wiring and splices into the main under dash harness.

This is the plug and wiring pigtail for the 65-66 Mustang Ignition Switch. Many times the wires coming out of this plug are broken. Up to this point, there was no alternative except to find a good used one (good luck!) or buy the entire underdash wiring harness.
