New Parts! 1965 and 1966 Mustang Floor Pan Reinforcements for Dual Exhaust

1965 and 1966 Mustang Dual Exhaust Floor Pan Reinforcement Plates
www.VirginiaClassicMustang.com

The GT, HiPo, GT350 Shelby, and other Mustangs with factory dual exhaust originally had a reinforcement plate welded on the rear floor underneath the rear seat.  This plate's purpose was to provide reinforcement for the muffler hangers that hung from here.

There was a plate on each side.  The '65 Mustang plate is different from the '66 only because the '65 does not have the extra hole for inside rear seat belt mount.  These new plates are made in the USA out of the proper gauge metal.  Care has even been taken to duplicate the original wrinkles on the bottom halves.  Holes are properly placed and drilled in each piece.

Here is the listing:

Are the bolts available?

These weld in place. Perhaps you are talking about the EH-661 Hanger Plates for the muffler hangers?

Very nice part! You can see a good pic of the reinforcement pan from the 66 GT350 in your blog. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KJuEtvaEUlk/UIcfPp-_vjI/AAAAAAAAxwc/Jw2sWBSEzA0/s1600/IMG_3611.JPG
