Just the Details...1966 GT350 Shelby Carryover Update

We have another update on the restoration of early '66 Shelby 6S033.  If you missed the last update, please click here to check it out.  Just to recap, this is one of the Carryover GT350s.  If you are unfamiliar with those, you may want to check out the web site, www.CarryoverGT350.com.

All of the work is being performed by Jeremy Turner at Maple Hill Restoration.  Like me, Jeremy enjoys researching the tiniest details on these unique cars.  If you have this passion, it makes it a whole lot more enjoyable and possible to turn out great work like this.  

Today, we have pictures of the first paint being applied.  The back sides of the front valance, stone deflector, doors, fenders, hood, and trunk lid are refinished.  The proper primers, colors and over spray patterns have been duplicated based on lots of research.
