If you have a 1965 Mustang or any 1965 Ford model equipped with a radio, you need this alternator radio suppressor! This very visible part mounts right to the back of the alternator and plugs into the factory alternator wiring harness.

We did lots of research to get this one right! It features the correct zinc plating, the proper mounting bracket, and even the exact, unique wiring plug...oh, and best of all, it is stamped with the FoMoCo logo and correct C5TZ-18827-A2 number.

This is a Ford Licensed Part and a Virginia Classic Mustang exclusive.

These are the absolute perfect compliment to our highly popular radio noise suppressors that mount at the voltage regulator.

Our part number is EG-3873.  Please click here to order.

Please note that in 1966 the condensor was changed to a rectangular style that was moved to the inside of the alternator.

Where does the male end plug into. My 1965 alt has some wires out the back but no where do I see a female attachment. A pic would be great if you have one.
