1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible for sale. |
If you are looking for a 1965 or 1966 Mustang Convertible project car for sale, this may be one that you want to consider. Our buddy, Dave Redman, has this very early production (March 19, 1964 scheduled production date) 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible for sale. I needs a lot of work, but it is pretty complete with a lot of the early, unique parts still intact.
1964-1/2 Mustang Convertible project for sale. 5F08F102169, build date March 18, 1964. 260 V-8, Automatic, original Rangoon Red car with Black interior and top. Original door data plate intact. Original options include console, 2 speed wipers, rocker mouldings, backup lights, AM radio, power top. Car actually runs and drives. All of the 1964-1/2 features intact (except for the non-lanyarded gas cap), including beveled headlight buckets, 2 speed heater, fixed passenger side seat, generator, colored door lock plungers, hydraulic brake light switch, louvered radiator support, square edged arm rest bases, early PCV setup, etc. Has an early pre-production hood without the lip (dated Dec 1963). Original engine, carburetor, etc (all dated Jan 1964). Car is rusty (floors and inner rocker rails mainly), and usual exterior rust. Most sheet metal dates are March 1964, a few January 1964. Main frame rails appear to be good,. Clear VA title. $7,500 Cash.
