Mustang Door Step Plates

We offer several versions of the Mustang door step plates (sometimes called door sill plates). Our favorite version is the USA made ones that are made in the original Ford Tooling. They are much more durable than the imported reproductions. More importantly, they fit so much better!

Take a look at the pictures below. The Ford Tooling Step Plates are formed properly to allow a much better fit for the overlap at the windlace in the rear and kick panel at the front.

Hertz Shelby with MICO Master Cylinder Brake Line Sets Now Available

In 1966, the Hertz Rent-a-Car Corporation purchased 1000 '66 GT350 Shelbys from Shelby American. Most were painted in the familiar black with gold stripes paint scheme, but there were also white, red, blue, and green ones.

In order to make the effort a bit easier for braking, most of these cars were converted to a special master cylinder made by MICO. We now have brake line kits for these Shelbys.

Like our other Mustang Brake Line Kits, they are available in either standard steel (like OE) or stainless steel.

NEW! Sequential LED Tail Lights for Your Classic Mustang

1965 and 1966 LED Sequential Tail Light Assembly

The tail lights on classic Mustangs are just not that bright. Now you can make your car safer with bright LED tail lights with the added bonus of being sequential.

These tail light assemblies are particularly cool, because the unit is all self contained. You get a new lens with the entire board built in and attached. It's also easy to install. You just plug it in the socket, just as you would plug in a bulb. There is an optional yellow wire that allows you to disable the "Brake Attention" which means when the brake pedal is initially engaged, all the lights come on rather than being sequential.

Found! 1968 Mustang Fastback from the Movie "Bullitt"

The movie, "Bullitt" starring Steve McQueen features one of the most iconic classic Mustangs ever, and possibly the most famous car chase scene. Supposedly, there were two Mustangs used in the movie. One "hidden away" by its owner, and the other was missing...until now.

These pictures are from the Fox News article where we first learned that the car found was determined to be the "real deal" by our friend, Kevin Marti. Kevin owns Marti Auto Works, and also owns the rights to Ford VIN information on 1967-up Ford vehicles. We handle many of the high quality products that his company produces.

Fox News reports that this 1968 Mustang Fastback was found in a Mexican junkyard. It will be brought to California and apparently be restored. I'm sure that we will be hearing much more about this Mustang in the future.
