While the stainless steel bleeders that come in our disc brake caliper rebuild kits are fantastic for some rebuilds, we now have the exact style steel ones that are also properly plated.

Our last update on '66 Shelby GT350 6S033 was a few weeks ago. We shared some pictures of the car after the painting was complete. If you missed that post, please click here.

Of course, the best part of a restoration is being able to start putting some parts back on the car! We finally get to do that as the firewall mat, heater, dash switches, and other items start to go back in. Click on a picture for larger views.

One of these years, we are going to have to make the trip to Scottsdale, AZ for the big auctions that are held in January. Besides the auctions, we would love to attend the annual open house at our friend's shop - Anghel Restorations.

Marcus, of course, specializes in all kinds of early model Mustangs, but concentrates on the Shelby and Boss Mustangs. He offers component restoration along with full blown, complete restoration to show standards. He definitely shares our passion for the details!

Since last week's post about our new Autolite distributor caps, we received quite a few questions about the correct distributor cap for a '65-66 Mustang and Shelbys.

We have this one too! The correct cap did not feature any logo or lettering on the top. It just featured a number "1" on the top. On the underside that cannot be seen when installed, the cap had a FoMoCo logo.

Our cap is exactly like the original, sans the FoMoCo logo. It also has brass contacts, which is actually an improvement over the original.

There are quite a few fuel sending units available for classic Mustangs. Because of this, it sometimes gets confusing when the time comes to purchase one.

If you have the original sending unit or your current unit hasn't been replaced in a long time, it is very likely that you may need a new one. Hopefully, you will only replace it once!

With this new gas tank sending unit, it's a very good chance that you will never have to replace it again.

There are several features that make this fuel sending unit superior to every one currently offered. In the 1980s, Ford started using new ceramic circuit board rheostats and foam floats in all of their gas tank sending units. We have brought that technology to vintage Mustangs. Surprisingly, these units are priced less than some other units currently on the market, but don't be fooled by the low price.

Here are some of the features:

Ceramic circuit rheostat will not corrode in ethanol and is resistant to sludge build up due to old fuel in cars that are not driven often.
Modern foam float that will never leak! Much better than the original brass float!
Stainless steel structure that is rust resistant.
Ethanol resistant "O" ring included.
3/8 inch inlet
