We just got the new plastic glove box compartments for the 1969 and 1970 Mustangs.  They are available in two different versions-one for Mustangs equipped without factory air conditioning and one for Mustangs with factory air conditioning.   

Both are made like the original parts in molded plastic with the provisions for holding the owner's card.

68 Mustang Radiator Hoses

1968 Mustang Radiator Hoses with correct wire style clamps stapled on like the originals.  Correct Autolite stamping with part numbers.

We have a large variety of correctly stamped FoMoCo and Autolite Radiator hoses.  Our newest version is for the Upper and Lower radiator hose set for the 68 Mustang equipped with the 289 and 302 engines.  These hoses feature the correct stapled wire style hose clamps already installed.  Our part number is EG-4781.  These hose are made by an original OEM manufacturer to the latest SAE standards.  They feature the correct bends and the correct logos and part numbers.

70 Mustang Mach 1 - Family Affair

It is always cool to hear stories about some of our customer's cars.  This one is no exception.  Thanks for sharing.

It is a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang, my father (Ray Keen Sr.) purchased it in 1972 for $2,000 with the help of a family member, Kenny Baker. My father drove this car all throughout his high school career at Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg, WV.  He dated my mother (Kathy S. Keen) in it for 6 years, and they went on their honey moon in it.  In the early 90's my father took the car off the road and it sat under the shed at their house.  When I was 15 I started to partial restore it and got it back on the road and I drove it to high school some (Alleghany High School, Covington, VA) and to prom.  In 2005 I decided to do a full restoration to it.  I had it media blasted and powder coated the undercarriage and engine compartment.  I practically replaced all the sheet metal and replaces all the bolts and screw with new ones and also purchased all brand new chrome.  My uncle Terry Simpson painted the car for me and a good friend of mine Kenny Armentrout did the body work.  Another friend of mine, BJ Fridley installed my headliner for me.  I had lots of help from other friends in tearing it apart and putting it back together : Wesley Arritt, David Arritt, Nick Morgan, Larry Morgan, Wesley Wolfe, Larry Wolfe, Don Graham, Jarrell Burdette, Heath Pence, Denny Pence and Jeffrey Howard.  And finally, 6 years later and approx $30,000 later, in May of 2011 I put it back on the road!  It has a 351 Windsor Engine 4 barrell, with a 4-speed Transmission, hurst shifter...373 rear end.

Mustang Engine Code Decals

I guess this post is for the "detail guys and gals" and show Mustangs.  We have many different Engine Code Decals for the various engines in the Mustangs.

We just got some new ones though.  We now have a wide variety of the engine code decals for the 65-66 Mustangs.

So where were these decals originally mounted?  Well, on 1965 Mustangs, they were usually installed on the bottom water pump outlet where the lower hose attaches.  Here is a picture showing that.

On the 1966 models, they are sometimes seen on the coil and the bracket mounted vertically.

Donald Farr's original Boss 302 book is a fantastic reference book.  Unfortunately, it went out of print years ago. We were very happy when we found out that he was updating the book and including the new Boss 302 information also.

We just received these new books yesterday.  I think it is just one of those "must have" books for any Mustang Library.  It is our part number LT-171.

Rufus Parnell "Parnelli" Jones is an American racing legend. As a driver, he has won races and championships in a wide variety of machinery, including sprint cars, midget cars, stock cars, off-road vehicles, sports cars, Trans-Am cars, and Indy cars. A winner of three Indy 500s (one as a driver, two as a car owner), among his many other career highlights was winning the 1970 Trans-Am Championship in a Mustang Boss 302.

Cobra Emblem

We have received a few questions about the Cobra emblems on the fenders of our 65 Mustang HiPo Convertible.  These emblems were originally installed on the Cobras, and they were included in some of the engine induction kits that were sold through Ford.  Our Mustang has the Cobra Three 2-V Induction Kit, which would have included two of these Cobra emblems.

These emblems are available as our part number ER497.  They are made by a company in the USA that originally made emblems for Ford and Shelby back in the sixties.  They are die cast metal, nicely detail painted and have two pins for mounting on the back side.
