Mustang Headlight Wiring Harness

Even if your Mustang's wiring is not all cut up, it's 50 years old.  Time, heat, and cold have all taken their toll.  Replacing the wiring harnesses is always better than seeing smoke!!

One of the main harnesses under the hood area is referred to as the Headlamp Harness.  We are often asked for the wiring harness that plugs into the horns or voltage regulator or headlights or alternator harness...you get the picture - all of these plug into this headlamp harness.

There were two versions made in 1965.  One is for the Mustang equipped with the warning lights (for the oil pressure and water temperature).  These are the cars with the "long style" speedometer.  This included the 1965 GT350 Shelby.  The other is for the '65 models with the gauge package.  These cars included the GT equipped Mustangs, cars with Pony (deluxe) interior, and the early '66 Carryover GT350 Shelbys.

It was a bit more simple in '66, when all Mustangs used the same harness.

All of our harnesses are of very high quality and made in the USA.  They feature the correct color wires, proper gauge wires, accurate plugs...they are just super nice.  We have lots of other wiring too. Give us a call or visit our website.

Here is the listing of the 1965 and 1966 Headlight Wiring Harnesses:
