It's been a while since we had a post about our 1966 Carryover GT350 Mustang Shelby. If you have been reading, it's 6S033 (the 33rd '66). It is one of the '66's with the rear package tray (no rear seat). You can read more about the "Carryover" Shelbys at www.CarryoverGT350.com.
We are excited to share some pictures from the project again. We will have more to share this week, but we will start with these "geeky" detail pictures.
Number 33 has now been glass beaded and is in epoxy primer (more on that later). Before the epoxy primer was applied to the entire car though, Jeremy at Maple Hill Restoration (www.MapleHillResto.com) applied the primer to the cracks, crevices, and insides of the clean frame rails. A small spray gun was used in this process, and the whole project was a bit of a mess. The result though is fantastic. Check out the photos and stay tuned for more!
