We have gotten a lot of positive feedback about our posts on our 65 Mustang K Code Convertible Project.
I knew there were some old pictures around here somewhere (remember film?), and I just ran across them the other day. I quickly scanned in a few to show you what the car looked like when we first purchased it back in around 1980-81. It was restored then and completed around 1983 or 1984 for its "first" restoration. All of our recent Blog Posts have, of course, been of the second restoration. It's hard to believe that we have owned the car for at least 30 years!!
It was complete when purchased and actually looked better than it does in some of these pictures. We started disassembling it before we took the first pictures!
Here is the progress on the 65 Mustang during the first restoration. Here the bodywork was completed and the front end and underside had been painted. www.VirginiaClassicMustang.com |

Nice pics from the past. Let us know if you scan in anymore of the first restoration. I thought it was a new project. Looks great and I really enjoy the blog. :-)
