1965 Mustang 289 High Performance Convertible
The other day, we posted a slideshow of the restoration of the rear differential housing on our Mustang HiPo Convertible. Today, we have a slideshow of the transmission case restoration.

Could you identify the transmission model and verify if it is a 4-speed. Could you give me the tail shaft length. What was the rear end gear ratio? Thank's.
It's a Ford Toploader 4 speed transmission. The HEH-T is a close ratio 4 spd. Sorry, but I don't have the exact length of the tail shaft right now. This car was originally equipped with a 3.89 rear end gear.
