Check out these great pictures sent in by our customer and good friend who is involved with the Southeastern Virginia Shelby American Automobile Club. They put together a nice social event and road tour this past weekend and had a nice variety of cars participating. The cars included a '65 Mustang GT fastback, several 1966 GT350 Shelbys, a '65 GT350, a '67 GT350, a '67 390 GT fastback, a '68 GT350 convertible, a '66 Mustang HiPo fastback, a modified '96 Mustang GT convertible, and an '01 Lightning pickup.

New Mustang Part! 69-70 Mustang Map Light

1969 and 1970 Mustang Underdash Map Light Assembly

We now have the interior "map" lights for 1969 and 1970 Mustangs equipped with standard interior. These light assemblies are exact reproductions of the originals and feature the proper plating, plug in wiring harness, switch, and wiring harness. These mount on the passenger side, under the dash. The switches often failed on the originals. Now you can replace your missing or broken light assembly with this super nice reproduction.

Don't forget that we also have the map light for the deluxe interior cars also.

Just the Details...1967 Shelby GT500 Restoration

It's been a while since we have posted about the 1967 Shelby GT500 in the shop at Maple Hill Restoration. If you missed the last post, click here to check it out.

Honestly, it's not really a restoration. This is a really nice, original paint car. The owner wants to maintain the majority of the car's originality, while making it a super dependable driver. Of course, some restoration is involved, but a lot of this "restoration" is more about "clean up."

The latest step in the project involve removing the rear suspension, cleaning it up, checking out the rear end and the factory markings, and installing new gaskets, bearings, and seals.
