This is SFM6S181 - one of what is referred to as a "Carryover". The Carryover Shelbys were actually '65 Mustangs that were used for '66 GT350s, so Shelby American could get some '66s completed for sale in time without having to wait the '66 Mustang production to begin. The first 252 1966 Shelbys were Carryover cars. I know...confusing, huh?

I have been a customer of Virginia Classic Mustang building Mustangs since the 80's when I was a teenager. I have two 1970 Mustangs that I just finished rotisserie restorations on that were basically built from your warehouse over the last 5 years. A 428CJ, and a Boss 302. They are both going to auction at the Carlisle spring sale April the the 21st. They are both feature vehicles that will prominently be displayed inside the auction house. I thought you might like to Check them out.

Just how cool is this? It's a Mustang bedspread! It was available in the 1966 JC Penney Christmas Catalog. It was called a "Mustang Spreadmobile"..."a speedy way to a child's heart".

It was available in red and blue for twin sized beds. The price listed was $12.88. Matching curtains and valance were also listed.

This is the first time that I have seen this. Has anyone else seen these or maybe had one back in the day?

While the stainless steel bleeders that come in our disc brake caliper rebuild kits are fantastic for some rebuilds, we now have the exact style steel ones that are also properly plated.

If you haven't checked out our new website, please do so! It's been a lot of work , but it's live now. You will find our current Blog post on the right side header bar of the home page.

We have been adding more content - pictures, descriptions, etc. - every day. Of course, the most exciting parts are the category listing and the search features. Everyone is quick to go to the search box, but please give the category listing a try as shown in the bottom screenshot.
