1965 GT350 Shelby Mustang is about ready for assembly.

We have more pictures of the early 1965 GT350 Shelby Mustang Restoration at Maple Hill Restoration.

The car is now painted and reassembly will start very soon! Check out some of the details. Be sure to subscribe to our Blog, so you don't miss anything.

In this post, check out the pictures of the hood, doors, trunk lid, and small pieces that have been painted off of the car. The body itself is now painted also.

The first 300 or so GT350s had the rear mounted battery, so you will see that the original battery hold down clamp has survive. It has now been restored. The original 289 High Performance engine has been painted, and we will have final assembly pictures of that detail soon.

There are the original dated hood hinges along with the date stamped upper control arms pictured as well!
