GT350 Tour - The Ozarks - 2019 - Part 2

If you missed our first post about the 2019 GT350 Tour, be sure to check it out by clicking here.

So, a little history about the GT350 Tour...

It started as a one time event in 2015 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the GT350. It was an offshoot of one of the Cobra Tours. The first year, there were 14 cars. As mentioned in my previous post, it has grown to 25 cars, which is really the maximum. It began as a private, nonprofit event with a group of friends sharing a passion for the cars and has remained that way.

As mentioned, it was supposed to be a "one and done" event. After all, it is a tremendous job to put together a quality event like this. There are tour books to make that include every single turn, special stops to plan, resorts to book (and negotiate with), lunches and dinners to arrange, etc. There is no way to convey the amount of work that goes into an event like this.

Fortunately, one person, our "leader," Lee Cross wanted the GT350 Tour to become an annual event. With Lee's passion and meticulous planning, it has not only become an annual event, but it just gets better year after year!

The cars are what brings our group together, but the people and friendships are what certainly keeps it together!

If you are reading this, you probably have a "cool car", so be sure to get out there and enjoy it...whether it is showing or driving!

Enjoy some more pictures from this year's Tour.
