The Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) just held their 39th annual convention (SAAC39) at Road America Raceway in Elkhart Lake, WI May 15-17, 2014. It was a great time! It's always fun to see all of the Shelbys and related vehicles and even better to see old friends and meet new ones.
During the first evening of the convention, there was a cruise to downtown Elkhart Lake ending with a little informal car show. Even race cars were allowed to participate in the cruise as the local police provided an escort. It was a great kick off to the convention with lots of Shelbys, Cobras, Mustangs, and other cars participating.
