1965 289 High Performance Mustang Convertible Restoration Project

We just posted some photos on Friday of the engine that goes in our 1965 Mustang Convertible K Code Project.  On Saturday, we installed the engine and transmission with some help from some "Shelby Buddies" that were visiting.  Thanks, guys!

Check out the photos.

  1. Wow Brant. She's a beauty. I thought you wanted to still be able to drive this K? Thanks for sharing your progress. I'm excited for you to complete it. I hope I get a chance to see it and photograph it some day.

  2. Very nice!! Can't wait to see it in person. If you wanted a true factory installation, you shouldn't have used blankets and bounced it off of the firewall a few times :-)
