SAAC 35 - More Pictures!

I have already had one post about The Shelby American Automobile Club's 35th annual national convention that was held at the end of August. Here is another one with some more pictures.  It was held in Sonoma, CA at Infineon Raceway. The host hotel was located in San Rafael, CA. It was a fantastic meet, and I'll have more about it here on the Blog.

How about this for rare?  ...one of the four original 1966 GT 350 Convertibles!

OK, OK...it isn't a Mustang, but it is an awesome car!!  It's a 1965 Falcon Ranchero.

...and the Ranchero sports a Paxton Super Charger under the hood!!

Here is one of the 1966 GT 350 Hertz Rent-a-Cars in the rare and beautiful Blue with Gold Stripes.  I like the Black ones too, but the Blue is really nice.

How about this cool 1968 Mustang Trans Am Coupe?

Here is a shot of the engine compartment of the '68 Trans Am Coupe...now that is nice!!

The guys at Cobra Automotive are hard at work in the garage area at the track.

Another very rare car...SFM5S106...one of the factory Race "R Models."

Here is a nice rig to haul your cars in!!!!

We even had some Drag Racing on Friday Afternoon.

Here are some shots of the beautiful track and surrounding area.
