1973 Rear Bumper Rubber Strip

In 1973, there was an option of rear bumper rubber strips for the Mustang. It was a very popular option. These strips almost always need to be replaced. We have listed them in our catalog, but the manufacturer has not had them available for quite some time. Well, we just received a limited number of them.

69-70 Mustang Front Seat Back Trim Panel

These are really nice! These panels feature the correct grain and off white color (we also have them in black.) Correct metal retainers are on the back side for installation exactly like the originals. The clips to install them are also included. Original back panels almost always are scratched and need replacement.

If you need a color other than black or white, they can be painted.

Oh, forgot to mention, the price has been reduced also! They are cheaper than the price listed in our 2009 print Catalog.

Mustang Seat Upholstery Listing Wire Set

If you have ever replaced a set of Mustang seat covers, you probably would have liked to have had a new set of these wires. They are almost always rusted, broken, and/or bent.

In case you are not familiar with what exactly they are, they are the wires that fit in the listing pockets or sleeves that are sewn into the back of the seat upholstery. After these wires are installed in the sleeves, they are pulled down through the seat foam and attached to the seat frame with upholstery hog rings.

This is a great new item and at $14.95 per set, it is not even worth cleaning up your old ones. Right now, we only have them available for 65-66 models with Standard Front Buckets. One set will do both front seats. These are just the curved wires (as pictured) for the "insert" section of the seat. The straight wires on the outside of the seat are not available.

Cobra Competition Oil Pan

There were lots of accessories available for Mustangs when they were new back in the sixties.

One of the most popular "Dealer" Accessories that is commonly added today to 1965-66 Mustangs is the Cobra Engine Dress-Up Kit. This kit consists of Cobra valve covers, Chrome Air Cleaner Assembly, Chrome Oil Cap, Chrome Dipstick, Chrome Radiator Cap, and Chrome Master Cylinder Cap (on the drum brake cars.)

One of the accessories originally offered that you do not commonly see is the "Cobra Competition Oil Pan." This pan is also commonly referred to as the "Cobra Roadster Oil Pan," because it was often used on the 289 Cobra.

It is just a neat accessory that we wanted to share here. This oil pan is going to find a home on our early '65 289 High Performance Mustang Convertible.

HUGE PRICE DROP! Mustang Aluminum Radiators

With better weather finally starting to arrive in some parts of the country, it is time to talk about radiators. We introduced our line of Mustang aluminum radiators almost a year ago. Click here for the original post. These radiators have worked out great!

We have added a few models to the line, but the biggest news is the price. When you talk price, it is usually an increase. Well, we have negotiated with the supplier to obtain a much better price and are passing the savings on to you!

We currently have a good number of all models in stock, but we expect them to go quickly. We will be getting more at this price, but you may want to get one while they are in stock.

Here is the listing:

1965 Mustang Parking Brake Cables

I always hate when something is discontinued; but in this case, it's a good thing. The BK2299 1965 Mustang Rear Parking Brake Cable (replacement style) is no longer available. That's fine though, because it has been replaced by the BK2247 Exact Style Cable.

This emergency brake cable is so much better than the replacement one that it is amazing. This BK2247 Cable features the correct ends, metal covering, rubber pieces, etc. It is just like the original. The other one was just a plastic covered cable that would work.

This correct cable is only $26.95...$2.00 more than the replacement one!!!

Order BK2247. Keep in mind that you will need two of them per car. They are sold each.

We always love it when a customer sends in pictures of their car. Today we have a few shots sent in by Jim McGee from Louisiana. Jim has a beautiful 1966 GT Coupe equipped with a 4 Speed Transmission.

Jim wrote us the following note:

Here are a few pics of my 1966 Mustang . All parts came from Virginia Classic Mustang over the last 17 years. The paint is almost 10 years old but still looks great. Thanks for all the help over the years.

Thanks, Jim!
