One of the very best modifications that you can make to your classic Mustang is the conversion from drum to disc brakes. At the same time, the upgrade from the single reservoir master cylinder to a dual reservoir master cylinder is a great upgrade.

The wiring end plugs on the '65 and '66 Mustang plug into two different plastic connector blocks. There are a total of eight wires. One block accommodates six wires and the other two.

If you are replacing your turn signal switch in your '65 or '66 Mustang, more than likely, you will need both of these connectors.

1966 Shelby GT350H (Hertz) Project Car For Sale

So, you are looking for an original 1966 GT350 Shelby Mustang? Maybe it also needs to be a project. Anyway, here is a project for sale. It's currently listed on Craigslist in Palos Park, IL. The asking price is $70,000. The ad indicates that it was recently appraised for $68,000.

It's one of the original '66 Hertz Rent-a-Car Shelbys and is number 6S1681. All but about 85 of these Hertz cars came equipped with automatic transmissions, and this is the way this car was equipped.

The Hertz cars were available in white, blue, red, green, and black. Black was by far the most common color.

This one looks to be quite a project, but '66 GT350 project cars are getting rather difficult to find.

Even many NOS Ford clamps do not have this tab.

For Sale: 1966 Mustang Shelby GT350

Isn't everybody looking for a nice "driver" 1966 Shelby?!? Here's one that appears to have no stories and a few really desirable "day 2" add on accessories. This one is number SFM6S825. Best of all, it's for sale!

It's an original Blue Hertz Rent-a-Racer. It features its original drivetrain along with all of the nice unique Shelby parts such as the Cobra valve covers, Cobra aluminum oil pan, "small letter" Cobra intake manifold, Koni shocks, MICO master cylinder, and more! Oh, and how about the original sheet metal and no rust ever!

I haven't seen it myself, but it sounds like a nice car, and appears to be reasonably priced.

If you have a 1965 Mustang or any 1965 Ford model equipped with a radio, you need this alternator radio suppressor! This very visible part mounts right to the back of the alternator and plugs into the factory alternator wiring harness.

We did lots of research to get this one right! It features the correct zinc plating, the proper mounting bracket, and even the exact, unique wiring plug...oh, and best of all, it is stamped with the FoMoCo logo and correct C5TZ-18827-A2 number.
