 We just got in these cool, new Metal Signs with various Mustang and Shelby Themes.  The signs are of extremely high quality.  They are made of 20 or 24 gauge metal that is powder coated, and all images are embedded in vibrant color.

Mustang Export Brace

Adding an export brace to your Mustang can be a great improvement. It really eliminates a lot of "flexing" that is common in a unibody car such as an early Mustang. These braces were originally installed on Mustangs that were exported out of the country. They were also installed on the early Shelbys.

When installing an export brace, please be aware that the shock towers often may be slightly "leaned in" on some cars due to rust or collision damage.

We have two qualities of export braces. One we call a standard quality, and the other is called concours quality. The concours quality export brace is easily worth the extra money. It was made using the original Ford Blueprints. The fit is much better, the stamping is much deeper, and the overall finish and quality is just much nicer.

We also have the correct 65-66 Shelby GT350 Export Brace. It is different from the others in that the mounting holes above the firewall are evenly spaced.

Within the next few weeks, we will have some new wheels to choose from for your Mustang!  These are the 1968-69 Styled Steel Wheels.  These wheels originally came with a black rim and used a stainless steel trim ring, but our new wheels will feature an All Chrome Rim!  We still have the plain and GT Caps that are sold separately.

As mentioned, this style of wheel was originally installed on '68 and '69 Mustangs (along with other Fords, such as some Torinos), but they will fit any 65-73 with the 5 bolt lug pattern.

These wheels are available in three sizes:

HB-521  14  x 6 (this was the stock size)

HB-522  14 x 7

HB-523  15 x 7

New! Mustang Roller Bearing Front Spring Perches

NEW!  Roller Bearing Spring Saddles / Perches for your Mustang, Cougar or other Classic Ford!

A part that almost always needs replacement in all 65-73 Mustangs (and other Classic Fords) is the Front Coil Spring Seat and Bushing Assembly.  This part is often referred to as the Spring Saddle or Spring Perch.  It bolts to the Upper Front Suspension Control Arm and the Front Coil Spring rests on this Assembly.  There is a "pivot" rubber bushing in this assembly that is almost always in poor condition, and the assembly needs replacement.

The original Ford design with this rubber bushing was obviously a "cost saving" style of design.  A reproduction of this original design is available as our Part Number SU-129. 

For those of you that wish to make a significant upgrade to your front suspension, we now have new Spring Perches with Roller Bearings!  These are just super nice and very well made parts.  These parts are even serviceable, but honestly, you should never have to take them apart or do anything at all to them. 

There are thousands of these special Roller Bearing Spring Saddles that have been installed on Mustangs and other Classic Fords over the years with fantastic results.  These cars have ranged from daily street drivers to all-out race cars, so this part is not really some kind of "race only" item.  The benefits are just as great on the casual street cruiser as they are on the vintage race car.

Like the originals, these Spring Perches fit a wide variety of cars.  Here is the list:

• 1966-1971 Fairlane

Shelby American Automobile Club's 35th Annual Convention

A few weeks ago, we posted some images from SAAC-35 that was held in Sonoma, CA at the end of August.  We shot some quick video clips too.  We just put them together, and wish that we had more!  No video was shot of the vendor area or Mustangs and Shelbys in the car show area, but we do have some coverage of the Road Tour, Drag Racing, and Open Track stuff.  Check it out!
